I have long been fascinated by hypnotherapy after receiving it myself while pregnant with my first child to learn relaxation and pain relief during labour (hypno-birthing as it is now called).  I later saw a hypnotherapist for sleeping problems brought about by getting up for night-time feeds. My background is in journalism and marketing and I studied to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), but my focus changed while bringing up my family and I found myself drawn increasing to holistic therapies including counselling, healing and hypnotherapy.

I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner (Neurolinguistic Programming – more about that later).   I  trained at the Anglia School of Hypnotherapy in Norwich. Training to become a hypnotherapist seemed to me a natural adjunct to my holistic approach to helping people – empower people to help themselves!  Alongside therapeutic sessions with my clients, I will also teach self-hypnosis to put them, YOU, firmly in control.  It puts YOU IN CHARGE.  Hypnotherapy is such a great device for bringing about positive change in a person, often very swiftly.   It has made such a difference to me!  I am also a REIKI practitioner and have professional accreditation for all the therapies I use.  I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (www.general-hypnotherapy-register.com) overseen by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council  (www.GHSC.co.uk) and am bound by their strict code of conduct.  I am also a member of the Government backed Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council so you can feel completely confident that the quality of my training and skills is of a standard endorsed by membership with these professional organisations.

I moved to beautiful Cornwall last year from Cambridge and am delighted to have practitioner premises in Falmouth.   The Clinic is tranquil, relaxing, yet centrally located with free or inexpensive car parking a few metres away. You can find me at:
